The Ascension of Hope II
The year 2020 was not only interrupted by Covid-19, it was also a year of some of the most devastating fires of Napa Valley's history. This wine is paying homage to the the brave men and women that stood on the front lines of destruction as they battled fires with more ferocity than ever before. We produced 200 cases of the 2021 Single Vineyard pinot noir from Anderson Valley. This wine is sophistication and complexity in a bottle while still delivering the blueberry notes that we love from this appellation. The label was designed by local artist Danasabe Mohammad and depicts a firefighter making an offering of a California Golden Poppy metaphorically representing resilience and a new tomorrow for California.
