2018 Calistoga Cabernet Franc

In March of 2020, our world stopped. We thought to ourselves, "in this dire moment, what can we do to help our community?" We decided to deliver cases of wine to local restaurants and to put in place a "tip for a bottle" program that would help provide relief to the staff that had been laid off due to COVID-19. This is the second vintage of the red label. This is 75% Cabernet Franc from the historic Storybook Vineyard in the most northern part of Napa Valley. We blended 25% merlot from old vines in the Frediani Vineyard. This wine is has notes of cherry and spice. It is made to be drank upon release as it went through an extensive barrel aging of 36 months to soften the wine.
